“For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it.” Proverbs 8:11

Money, wealth and jewels are good things! In fact, heaven’s gates and walls, it’s streets and malls are filled with jewels, gold and silver, and incredible riches and jeweled beauty! The Bible promises prosperity and durable goods to those who have their priorities right. Matthew 6:33 tells us that, when the kingdom of God and His righteousness are our priority, we will lack no good thing! Solomon asked for wisdom and understanding. God gave it to him, and it’s been said that he became the wealthiest man in history! Why? Because He had wisdom!

James 1:5-6, invites us to ask God for this wisdom. It says, “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.But let him ask in faith, with no doubting…” When we believe God’s promise and believe we receive wisdom when we ask for it, it may show up in several ways…

Some of the benefits of wisdom are:

Joy – Pr. 3:13

Health – Pr. 3:16

Long Life – Pr. 3:16

Promotion – Pr. 4:8

Peace – Pr.3:17

Honor – Pr. 3:16

Riches – Pr. 8:18

So, when you ask for wisdom, and you ask in faith, it may show up in a very unexpected way! It may show up in the form of great JOY! Remember, the Joy of the Lord is your strength! It may show up in physical HEALTH or HEALING; it may come in the form of a PROMOTION

One of the spiritual exercises we can all do is to go through the scriptures about wisdom, primarily in Proverbs and Psalms, and write out the scriptures that promise a benefit of wisdom. Then meditate on those scriptures and let them renew your mind, fill your imagination, and re-establish your way of thinking to His thoughts and His wisdom.                                                                         It will bring transformation to your life!

With Love,

Pastor Tom
