\u201cBehold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.\u201d Revelation 3:11<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This scripture tells us three things: 1) When Jesus comes, He will come quickly,<\/strong> which signals us to be prepared for His coming<\/strong>. 2) He tells us to hold on tight to what we have<\/strong>, which is our testimony, our faith in the Blood, and revelation knowledge of the Word of God, which is the Truth that freed us from fear, bondage and a hopeless existence. And, 3) It tells to let no man take our crown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c\u2026Hold Fast to What You Have<\/strong>\u2026\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The devil knows that he cannot take anything that God gave us unless we surrender it to him. So, he works to subvert our will by making the things of this world look better than what we have! When we forget what we have, we forget who we are in Christ, and our purpose and identity become blurred. That\u2019s what he did to Adam. He convinced Adam and Eve that they would be like God if they ate the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Satan ignored the fact that they were already like God \u2013 not just a little like God \u2013 Just Like God!<\/strong><\/em> They forgot who they were, and they bought into the lie of the devil. They did not hold fast to what they already had.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He tried the same approach with Jesus by questioning His identity too, by saying, \u201cIf you are the Son of God\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There was no IF<\/em> in Jesus\u2019 mind. He knew who He was, and when we hold fast to the Word, it\u2019s like looking in a mirror which reveals who we are \u2013 A New Creation in Christ \u2013 that we are Just like Jesus<\/strong><\/em> in our inner man! We need to protect our identity and the freedom it brings us in Christ!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c\u2026Let No Man Take Your Crown<\/strong>\u2026\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have seen the devastating effect that the media has had on this nation, and the world too, for that matter. They are always spinning false narratives that are rooted in lies, half-truths, and rumors, twisting the facts and predicting negative forecasts that fit their own agenda. This is all designed to take what the Father has given us in Christ. We came very close to losing precious freedoms as US citizens. That is, until the last election. But the devil is really after our Crown, which are the freedoms we have in Christ! Among those freedoms is the revelation of Jesus, and who we are in Christ – Free from fear! Free from bondage \u2013 Free from the Curse of the Law \u2013 Free from the works of the law \u2013 Free to choose our own words that bear the fruit of life, power, grace and peace! All of these things are represented in the crown we have been given<\/strong> as believers in Jesus!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We need to possess and protect our freedom in Christ as we do our natural freedoms as Americans and be willing to fight the good fight of faith through a continual flow of the Word of God from our lips. Then, new levels of freedom will take root and prepare for Jesus\u2019 return for the Body of Christ! And, as we hold fast to what we have in our identity in Christ, we will grow stronger in the Lord and in the power of His might!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
