{"id":6071,"date":"2026-05-27T11:48:35","date_gmt":"2026-05-27T11:48:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/testamentoflove.org\/?p=6071"},"modified":"2026-05-27T11:48:37","modified_gmt":"2026-05-27T11:48:37","slug":"god-is-always-speaking","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/testamentoflove.org\/index.php\/wow\/word_of_the_week_post\/god-is-always-speaking\/","title":{"rendered":"God Is Always Speaking!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>&#8220;My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me&#8221; John 10:27<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the Old Testament, one of the names God revealed Himself as, was Jehovah-Shammah, which is found in Ezekiel 48:35. Jehovah-Shammah means, \u201cThe God who is there, or the ever-present One.\u201d That\u2019s who Jesus is! When Jesus spoke the words, \u201cmy sheep hear my voice\u2026\u201d It is spoken in the present tense, meaning that He is always speaking to us! It\u2019s exciting to me to know that whatever situation I\u2019m in, or whatever dark future the enemy is forecasting, Jesus is there with me, and He is speaking to me. When I follow Him, He will bring me through those times safely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s important that we communicate with Him constantly, to be talking with Him, asking Him questions, quoting His Word and giving His counsel first place in our lives. That is how we train our spirit. If we\u2019re not willing to hear Him in the day-to-day issues, we\u2019re not going to hear Him in life\u2019s larger and more critical issues either; not because He\u2019s not speaking. It\u2019s because we were not attuned to His voice. In other words, we\u2019re so busy listening to our own heart, we won\u2019t be listening for His voice when it comes and we\u2019ll miss it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It would be helpful to all of us if we voiced these few words continually throughout our waking hours: \u201cI know the voice of the Good Shepherd. I hear His voice, He leads me, and I follow Him! You will be surprised how many scriptures will begin to come to your mind, and how many new ways of seeing things start entering into your daily life.
