\u201cHowbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth\u2026 and he will shew you things to.\u201d John 16:13<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In our teens we all wanted to bust out into the world, be our own person, have everything our way, answer to no one; and be able to go where we want to go and do what we want to do! In other words, we want to be FREE! Little did we know that freedom isn\u2019t having an unrestrained life; satisfying every whim and desire only leads to bondage. Freedom is a good thing and it\u2019s one of the reasons Jesus came into the world, we just need to understand what freedom is. That\u2019s why the Holy Spirit was given to us, to guide us into all truth, and show us things to come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jesus connected freedom with Truth! He said, \u201c\u2026If you continue in My Word\u2026you shall know the truth the truth shall make you free, (John 8:31-32).\u201d It\u2019s obviously His will that we are free. The question is; free from what? Well, how about fear and the bondage it brings. Hebrews 2:14-15 tells us that fear, and particularly the fear of death, is the root of all bondage. If you dig down to the root of your problems, fear always appears in the mix.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let\u2019s imagine that a close friend called you today and told you that your brother was killed last night in a car accident. That news would probably shake you causing you grief, sorrow and concern. BUT\u2026 let\u2019s say that you knew that wasn\u2019t true because you just got off the phone with your brother an hour ago. All the time your friend was telling you that your brother was dead, you knew the truth, and your response would be completely different. There would be no emotional pain, no grief or sorrow\u2026 You would be completely free of grief and filled with peace. Why? Because you knew the truth, and the truth made you free from the grief of a false report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I know that we\u2019ve all received false reports about life ever since we were old enough to think. Those lies produced negative images, and they were sent to produce fear and stop us from being everything God created us to be. Jesus came to give us the Words of Truth! Let the Holy Spirit show you the REAL STORY – the powerful Love of the Father who gave His only Son for you! That alone places you in a favored position with God. Let\u2019s believe His Words instead of the lies of the enemy!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
