“Keep them (My Words) in the midst of your heart; For they are life…” Pr. 4:21-22
Meditating on the Word of God empowers us in ways like nothing else can! For one thing, it transforms our belief system. That is important because what we believe is where we’ll wind up! Meditating on the Word of God is meditating on life, and more specifically, the laws of life, blessing, and authority! Jesus said, “Behold, I give you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” (Luke 10:19). Jesus never changes. He wanted to empower men then, and He wants to empower us now! As we meditate on those words, we become more aware of what we have and what the demonic forces DON’T have!
The Word Will Liberate You!
Meditating on the Word is what Jesus was referring to when He said, “If you continue in My Words, then you are My disciples indeed, and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:31-32). There is power imparted to us when we meditate on the Word because the Word IS Power. It is the creative power of God, and it is the highest authority that everyone and everything will one day be held accountable to. When we allow the Word of God to transform our thinking, our belief system, and our way of life, it will experience tremendous liberation from sin, sickness, demons, and fear!
The Word Will Speak to You!
When we let the Word of God dwell richly in us, it will begin to speak to us when we need it the most. When we experience a shortage, instead of saying, “Wow, I’m broke!” The Word will rise up in us and we’ll counter the fact that we’re broke, with the truth that says, “My God shall supply all my needs according to His riches in glory!” (Phil. 4:19). When you’re at the end of your own ability, the Word will rise up in you, and instead of agreeing with the problem, you’ll say, “I can do all things through Christ, which strengthens me!” (Phil. 4:13) When you feel sick, instead of voicing how sick you are, you’ll declare, “By His stripes I was healed! (I Peter 2:24) And if I was healed then I am healed! Sickness, depart from me!” There is life, power, healing, grace, blessing, strength, supernatural ability, empowerments, and gifts at our disposal as we meditate on the Word. The Holy Spirit will activate the Word when you need it, because it has become infused with your spirit!
Keep His Words in the midst of your heart…for they are LIFE!
With Love,
