“But He, because He continues forever, has an unchangeable priesthood. Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.” Hebrews 7:24-25

The God-kind of love is not of this world, which is the reason that so many are afraid of it. It’s also why it cannot be described in human terms. We literally have nothing in this world that can define it. What we do have is a living illustration of God’s love in the Person of Jesus, the Son of God.

Those who have never seen beyond a fallen world, and thus, have been molded and shaped by their ultimate mortality and the fear of death, cannot even imagine someone whose love doesn’t expect reciprocative responses. That Person does exist, and He is waiting for you to believe in His love. His Son, who gave His life for you, is praying for you no, matter who you are, what you’ve done, or what you have, or don’t have to give. He alone is the Giver of love. He loves you enough to send His own Son into this world, whose death was price for your eternal life. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

If you’re laboring and heavy laden with guilt, fear, condemnation, uncertainties, perils, pain, confusion, and can see nothing but an empty future that only ends in death, then you need to look no further than to Jesus. He knows what you’re going through and He has literally wiped the floor with your greatest enemy. He defeated sin, death, hell and the grave, and rose from the dead so He could “…ever live to pray for you!” He also promised you He would prepare a place for you so that where He is you shall be for eternity! In short, He came to give a life of abundance and peace!

Everything He did, including being raised from the dead, was all for you! Walking with Him is beyond human limitations. This is living a redeemed life! It’s a new day for you! All He asks is that you believe in Him.

With Love,

Pastor Tom
