“Be anxious for nothing…” Philippians 4
A powerful force within us is the ability to remain consistent in difficult times. The Bible calls it Self-Control (Galatians 5:23). Self-Control is the ability to override our emotions with truth and wisdom while we trust God for the outcome.
That is where we are right now. We know the plans God has for us are good, to give us a hope and a future. He is speaking words of peace to us all the time, and we will hear those words when we remain consistent is every season. While we await the outcome of this virus situation, remember that we are in it together. Don’t allow the enemy to pressure you into anxiety about it. It’s impossible to be in faith and anxiety at the same time. Remember, faith is the victory that overcomes anything the world throws our way.
The enemy gets traction in our anxiety, but when he sees we are consistent, it sends him packing!
With Love,
Pastor Tom
