“So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.”  Matthew 18:35

  1. Others have hurt us; but no one has ever hurt us as much as we have hurt Jesus.
  2. Others my owe us; but none of them owe us as much as we owe Jesus.
  3. Others have snubbed us; but no one has snubbed us as much as we have snubbed Jesus.
  4. Others may have brought ruin into our lives; but no one has ever brough as much ruin to our lives as we have brought to Jesus.
  5. Others may have stripped us of our dignity; but no one has ever stripped Jesus of His dignity than we have.

A believing heart seeks the kind of Justice that only God can administer. His justice is what takes wrong things and makes them right. Not just for the hurt party, but for all parties concerned. Matthew 18:21-35 is the Parable of the Unforgiving Servant; who, having been forgiven of a debt he could never pay, refused to extend the same forgiveness to another. He and his family ended up in torment. What do you believe about Jesus and all He has done for you?

Let’s not limit God by trying the set the terms and conditions for forgiveness. Peter tried to do that, but Jesus showed him that he was really limiting his own ability to receive forgiveness from God.

Let’s show the world that Jesus has a better life for them than grudges, resentment, bitterness, and animosity. He has placed a wealth in us that is more than able to forgive. He has given us unlimited resources and abilities we haven’t even tapped into yet… Let’s not limit Him! A believing heart seeks for these things… What do you believe about Jesus…?

With Love,
