“Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.” – Matthew 7:24-25
The Bible tells us to stay in the race, run our course and obtain the prize. We win our race by doing the Word of God that can never fail or change.
Our foundation in the Word of God is what we build on, run on, endure life on, and stand on through our good days, bad days, victories and failures, all with the promise that we will be standing when everything else blows away.
We are believers! We are doers of the magnificent Word of God, that breathes with the vibrancy of the very heart of Jesus. It’s the Word of God that empowers us with heaven’s authority and God’s rich love that knows no barriers or limits and begins and ends with His Word. In the beginning was the Word… (John 1:1)
Every builder starts with a blueprint that shows the final result. The Bible is God’s blueprint for you! He created you for the day in which you live, and He chose you so He could speak through you, run through you, win the lost through you, and most of all, so He could plunder the enemy through you and share the spoils with you in His Kingdom as His joint heir forever!
Hear what He is saying to you, do it with joy, and you will beat the enemy at his own game! Let’s just do it!
With Love,
Pastor Tom
