“For every tree is known by it’s own fruit…” Luke 6:44

If you listen to people talk long enough, you’ll notice startling similarities between their words and their life’s
circumstances. That’s because words are powerful. In fact, Jesus taught more about words than He talked
about many other things. He said that words are spiritual seeds the bear fruit after their own kind. (Mark 4)
He said, “ For every tree is known by its own fruit…. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings
forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.” Luke 6:44-45. Good words are good seeds that will reproduce after their own kind.

The most valuable gift we can give anyone, other than the Gospel of salvation, is a workable understanding of
the power of words. Proverbs 6:2 says, “You are snared by the words of your mouth; You are taken by the
words of your mouth.” Many have spoken the words of the devil, and those words have created a negative
image on their heart that holds them back from walking in the kind of Life that Jesus provided for us.
Our words, like the fruit of a tree, reveal what we believe in our hearts, which is the image we have of ourselves.
“Whoever shall SAY…and not doubt in his heart but shall BELIEVE… shall have what he says.” Mark 11:23
This is the law of faith. It works for both good things and evil. “A good man …brings forth that which is good;
and an evil man…brings forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
The GOOD NEWS is that, if your words got you into the trouble you’re having now – then your words can also
change that, and bring you into the life and plan that God intended for you from the beginning – to walk in and experience the Life of God! So, ‘What Are You Talking About?

With Love,
