“KPA is the school our family didn’t know we needed! We have tried out public and Christian schools, and have even homeschooled, and each year we are left wondering where we will be the following year because major issues come up that are not addressed properly. The first part of this school year was extremely rough for my 8 year old and after pulling her out of our previous school and starting at KPA, I could see an immediate change in her emotionally, mentally, spiritually, and academically. I love the school model and how the teachers sincerely want to help each student grow into the individual God created them to be. Instead of being held to one expectation for everyone, my girls are encouraged to grow in their individual gifts, and when that happens, they are able to learn more and learning becomes fun! This is the first time I can say we are sincerely excited for next year!”
Our experience at Kairos Patriot Academy (KPA) over the previous two years has been such a blessing. After witnessing the crumbling of our school system over the past few years it was painfully obvious that we no longer have a public school system worthy of (teaching) our children. After navigating several schools and a period of homeschooling due to Covid shutdowns, KPA provided the supportive and individualized education we were looking for. KPA is truly grounded in teaching each individual child where they are academically. Having our daughter not feel the pressure of needing to be at the same level as other kids, but still being encouraged to strive and push herself has boosted her confidence immensely.
KPA is a place where our daughter’s mind and heart are protected from things she should not be learning in school, topics the public school system has adopted as their responsibility, instead of parents teaching our children. KPA also recognizes the importance of the family unit and encourages it, not imposing stringent homework and attendance guidelines without flexibility. We know that our daughter’s life would have looked much different had she struggled or fallen through the cracks in the public school system. We are tremendously blessed to be a part of this school.
My daughter started at KPA this January after a difficult experience at another private Christian school. The fast pace left her falling behind. Buried in anxiety and stress, she shut down. Her love for learning—and even her love for herself—was quickly fading. When she began to have panic attacks almost nightly because of the stress she felt at school, I knew it was time to make a change. As a single, full-time working mom, I was hard pressed to find a solution. I’m so grateful we found KPA! It has been truly transformative; my daughter can now read and has regained her joy and enthusiasm for life and learning. I hope more children can experience an education like this that not only sharpens their minds, but safeguards their hearts and protects their spirits.
